“Station of the forgotten”, directed by Christian Molina and Sandra Serna, continues its route trough several international film festivals. After the excellent reception of the audience in the Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid, the Cairo International Film Festival, the International Latino Film Festival of San Francisco and the Pune International Film Festival of India, “Station of the forgotten” has been selected by the San Diego Latino Film Festival, California. This competition was established sixteen years ago and has developed into one of the larger and well-respected Latino film festivals in USA and its 17th edition will take place from the 11th to the 21st of March 2010.

“Station of the forgotten” is a story that bridges the generation gap: a story about an old sailor and a young teenager brought together by fate. Together, joined by the old sailor’s granddaughter and an urn containing his wife’s ashes, they will journey back to the fishing town where the old man used to live.
